Terms of Service

1. Definitions

“Service” means the Timesheet MC software application.

“User” means an individual or business entity that creates an account and connects a FreshBooks account.

“Approver” means a person invited by a User who is authorized to view or approve timesheets.

“FreshBooks Data” means data imported from FreshBooks via OAuth, including business details, client details, project details, service details, and time entries.

2. Description of the Service

Timesheet MC allows Users to connect their FreshBooks account, import time entry data, generate timesheets, and share those timesheets with authenticated Approvers.

3. FreshBooks Integration

Timesheet MC integrates with FreshBooks using official APIs and OAuth authorization.

  • Timesheet MC is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by FreshBooks.
  • FreshBooks remains the system of record.
  • Imported data may not reflect real-time updates in FreshBooks.

4. Authority & Responsibility

The User represents that they have legal authority to access and share all FreshBooks Data connected to the Service.

The User is responsible for managing group membership, permissions, and assigned Approvers.

5. Data Accuracy & Reliance

Timesheets are generated using data imported from FreshBooks.

The Service does not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or timeliness and does not provide accounting, payroll, tax, or legal advice.

Approval of a timesheet does not constitute legal, financial, or accounting certification.

6. Sharing & Approvals

  • Approvers must have an authenticated Timesheet MC account.
  • Approvers may only access timesheets assigned to them.
  • Access may be revoked by the User at any time.

7. Future Paid Features

Timesheet MC may introduce paid plans or features in the future. Users will be notified in advance, and additional terms may apply.

8. Prohibited Uses

  • Sharing data without proper authority
  • Bypassing authentication or access controls
  • Misrepresenting the Service as an official FreshBooks product
  • Using the Service for unlawful purposes

9. Data Retention & Account Termination

If FreshBooks access is revoked or an account is deleted, Timesheet MC will stop syncing data and delete or anonymize imported data within a reasonable period, unless retention is required by law.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Timesheet MC shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages, business losses, or errors originating from FreshBooks Data.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the laws of Canada applicable therein.
